In time, wounds are healed
With patience, goals are reached
If this journey leads to nothingness
Then why the rush?

If all that goes up ends up coming down
Then why all the hurry? 
If you missed this train
In time another will show up
That's the promise of patience.

For the cheetahs on a dashing sprint 
You'll not have all that you wished for
And there'll be no more line to cross 
When the race is over.

And for the gliding snails 
You won't miss all the opportunities the world offers
As long as you keep trying and believing.

In the marathon race of life
We're all on the same lane
Just know it's human and not a rat race
The speed may be different
But the destination, the same.
